Today is kind of like a rest day for us since we only rode 78 KM. We were all quite pleased to be doing a short day since the head wind was out in full force again and since the afternoon forecast threatened to offer severe thunder storms. But overall it was a fine ride. About 24 KM from Glasgow we enjoyed a stop at Bergie's Cafe & Gifts where Carl & I enjoyed root beer floats and James & Trevor enjoyed milkshakes.
We arrived in Wolf Point at 12:30 and had lunch at McDonalds after cleaning up. It was delicious but I feel slightly guilty for loving it so much. We took a walk through town, visited a few shops and picked up some groceries for tomorrow.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention the Glasgow toast incident. We had breakfast at the hotel and the waitress forgot to bring the toast. James is normally a very patient fellow, but we could all feel that something was agitating him. I asked what was wrong and he told me it was the toast. The tension at the table was rising. After a few more minutes of waiting James found another waitress who was able to resolve the situation and all was well again. The restaurant even gave us a 10% discount.
Tomorrow we hope to make it to Glendive, which is about 170 km away but as usual it will depend on weather and wind.
