Beach to Dickinson

Short day today so we could get my rack repaired. Highlight of the day was a stop in Medora, a neat place in Theodore Roosevelt National Park, about 35 km east of Beach. They had a fantastic bike shop that fixed up my rack, an amazing lunch buffet and great live music. Apparently there is a lot of single track mountain biking trail around as well. Definitely worth a future visit.

We had a tail wind again today and had intended to make it to Richardton but we could not find a suitable motel there. The one we called would not allow four guys in one room for some reason.

While in Dickinson we took a cab to the north part of town for dinner and so that Trevor could buy some new sandals since his other ones fell off his bike a few days ago.

Tomorrow we hope to make it to Bismark.
